THE ASSIGNMENT

Intel Developer Forum was an annual showcase of Intel technologies for customers, developers and ecosystem partners. It was discontinued in 2017 after a 20-year history based on shifts in the company’s business strategy.

When Pat Gelsinger took the helm as CEO in 2021, he wanted to refocus attention on the developer community as the lifeblood of technology innovation, so the Intel Innovation event was born. It debuted in October, 2021 as a virtual event.

SOLUTION

Rather than Intel talking about developer’s experiences, we proposed that the audience hear directly from developers themselves as they share their personal ambitions and passion for technology and innovation

For Pat’s opening keynote, we shot three ISV “Illuminaries” discussing the vital role open source development and collaboration play in driving industry innovation forward.

We then shot four individual “portraits of innovation” highlighting developers in different industries and areas of focus. The goal was to bring each story to life in a way that captured the ambitions, personality and passion of each developer in order to make them relatable and inspirational for our developer audience.
