ASSIGNMENT
In 2015, Flextronics set out to reposition the company to take advantage of the $7 trillion dollar market opportunity created by one of the most profound shifts in technology and global manufacturing – the move toward the “Age of Intelligence” where billions of connected devices transform the way the world works. That meant reimagining their Customer Experience Center to engage and immerse their most important audiences in the new Flex brand story.
SOLUTION
This new state-of-the-art presentation space featured a 44 monitor video wall across three sides of the room. We were asked to design a video playback system capable of displaying video content across all three displays—a whopping 2.9 billion pixels per second! We sourced the manufacturer and developed the content post-production workflows for the system.
We also created the “welcome” video for the center. Our idea was to tell the story using the two most elemental graphic elements—a dot, and a line—to demonstrate how any object or idea could be created from those two building blocks—a metaphor for the binary world of computing.
The video positioned Flex as the only company that delivers the innovation, visibility, cross-industry expertise and commercialization solutions needed to produce high quality, reliable products from sketch to scale.
